Medical Radiation Safety Officer (MRSO) Training
Increase your compliance knowledge and learn the day-to-day requirements of a Medical RSO with courses like The Role of the MRSO, Principles of Rad Safety, Radiation Therapies, Inspection/Safety Culture, and Radiation Safety in medical facilities for x-rays, fluoroscopy, CT and PET machines. Earn Continuing Education Credits for this course with 20 CEC granted by ABHP and/or 20 MPCEC awarded by CAMPEP.
fLUOROSCOPY cOURSES
Versant Physics' Virtual Fluoroscopy Courses provide the safety training you need with the convenience of an online platform. Learn about the optimization of techniques for better images while lowering dose, patient and staff protection, dose quantities, and safety culture. Both our 4-hour and 10-hour Fluoroscopy Courses are approved by the ASRT for Category A Continuing Education Credits.
Medical X-Ray Radiation Safety Training
A subset of our MRSO Training course, the Medical X-ray course from Versant Physics is a 10-hour course designed for physicists, physicians, and those managing a radiation safety program or working with radiation-producing machines in a medical environment. Our Medical X-ray course is approved by the ASRT for 13.75 Category A Continuing Education Credits.
Department of Transportation (DOT) Training
Our online Department of Transportation (DOT) training for technologists is designed to focus on general awareness and familiarization training, function specific training concerning the preparation for shipment and movement of radioactive materials, general safety training, and security awareness training. The DOT course is approved by the ASRT for 1.25 Category A Continuing Education Credits.
